Our services include classes, community health presentations, health screenings, rural outreach, and professional education for health care providers.


Kitchen Safety and Cooking Basics

Putting together a well balanced meal can be difficult for anyone, especially for 10 – 15 year olds that may not know their way around the kitchen. CHER is now offering Kitchen Safety and Cooking Basics for 10 – 15 year olds interested in learning how to safely create satisfying meals for themselves and others. This class will focus on nutrition, safety, first aid, cooking basics, and meal planning. Cost is $25 and includes a snack prepared by the students. Pre-registration is required.
