About the presenter:
Christina A. Geithner, Ph.D., is a professor at Gonzaga University in the Department of Human Physiology. Tina earned her doctorate at the University of Texas-Austin in Kinesiology, with a specialization in Physical Development and Aging. Tina’s research interests include physical and functional changes across the lifespan, barriers to and motivators for physical activity, stress reduction, and work-life balance. Tina is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and a frequent presenter at ACSM’s Annual Meeting and Health & Fitness Summit. She has co-authored three publications on the topic of personal and work-life balance, and finds balance in teaching and practicing yoga, running, and spending time outdoors.
